Visiting is from 8:30 to 16:00, and admission is free. [Temple Area] After passing through the gate, you will see the white-walled main hall and a 15-meter-tall white pagoda. The pagoda base has a layered design of laterite wrapped in plaster, and the Buddha statue standing on the south side has a compassionate expression. It is in the center of the temple grounds, so you should first get a full view here. Inside the main hall is a small golden pagoda with a seven-story structure, and the canopy is made of mirror mosaic. Photography is allowed inside the hall, but flash photography is prohibited. Shoes and hats must be removed before entering the hall. [Golden Seated Buddha in the Corridor] More than 100 seated Buddhas are lined up at equal intervals in the corridor surrounding the main hall. The tile floor is an early 20th century import with a beautiful geometric pattern, so it looks even better when you take a low-angle shot of both the floor and the statue. [Thaworawatthu Building] The crimson museum building located on the north side of the temple is a restored repository from the Rama V period. The contrast between the Gothic-style iron-lattice windows and the red plaster is striking, and the colors look best around 9am. Inside the building, panels showing the restoration process of the Buddha statue and old coins are on display, and the air-conditioned room is perfect for a short break.
