Yeon Jung, a Chinese-Korean restaurant

Yeon Jung Korean Chinese Cuisine is another Korean restaurant in Koreatown (Sukhumvit 12) that has just celebrated its 1st anniversary a few days ago. What makes it special is that it offers Korean-style Chinese cuisine, which is another dimension of Korean cuisine that many people may not be familiar with. The highlight of Yeon Jung is its presentation of Korean dishes influenced by Chinese cuisine. The flavors are rich, well-rounded, and have a hint of Chinese spices mixed in, but still maintain their authentic Korean style perfectly. Most importantly, most of the dishes come in very large plates. And not just large plates, but also large portions. Suitable for coming with many people and sharing, you can eat many things and enjoy eating very much. Personally, I like the Tangsuyuk menu: fried pork with sweet and sour sauce in Korean-Chinese style. The fried pork is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sauce is served separately, so the pork is still crispy. And the sauce has a slight lemon aroma. Some people like to pour it on, but for me, I like to dip the sauce myself and ask the restaurant staff to make the sauce for me. It has a delicious salty taste. Dipping it with fried chicken goes very well together. And most importantly, the staff here are very good (even though some of them may not speak Thai), but they will take care of you all the time without having to call. And the shop often gives free gifts all the time. So cute, so impressive.
