Sagrada Familia, Spain

An architectural landmark in Barcelona, Spain, designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. This unique piece of art and distinctive innovation began construction in 1882. The plan includes 18 towers, but as of now, only 8 have been completed, with the project about 50% finished. Gaudí was tragically killed in a car accident in 1926, and his remains are buried in the Sagrada Familia. Despite Gaudí's death, his collaborators continued the project using his photographs, sketches, and models. A notable feature of this building is the contrasting colors of the stones on the front and back, and the distinct construction styles between the old and new sections. 📍Sagrada Familia
