⛰️ Batu Caves – A Spiritual and Cultural Landmark

📍 Location Batu Caves is located just north of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – about a 20-minute drive from the city center. It’s one of the most important Hindu religious sites outside of India. 🛕 What to See The main attraction is the massive golden statue of Lord Murugan, standing 42 meters tall. Behind it, 272 colorful steps lead up to the main cave temple inside a limestone hill. The interior is impressive, with natural light pouring in through openings in the rock. 🌿 Garden and Surroundings At the base of the steps, there’s a peaceful garden area filled with tropical plants, fountains, and small shrines. You might see peacocks and monkeys roaming freely. It’s a nice place to relax before or after climbing the stairs. 🐒 Monkey Warning The monkeys around Batu Caves are bold!
