Beijing Ancient Artifacts Tour Recommendation: Archaeological Museum

A newly opened museum in Beijing, located next to the Institute of Historical Research! It feels like an extension of the National Museum's functions. The museum showcases many exquisite ancient artifacts from various provinces, with a total of four floors. Currently, reservations are free. From artifacts of primitive settlements to relics from various dynasties in Chinese history, you can see them all here. Some of the Xia and Shang dynasty artifacts seen last year at the Yinxu in Anyang and Erlitou in Luoyang are replicas, while the originals are exhibited here. It feels like you can see the finest artifacts from various provinces without leaving Beijing. If you are interested in Chinese history and ancient artifacts, or if you want to bring children for a visit, it is very meaningful and valuable. The only downside might be that the guidance and security checks need improvement, and the management is still a bit chaotic.
