In Huairou! Escaping the hustle and bustle of the city with kids

If you're traveling with kids, it's best to go on weekdays when there are fewer people. We chose to drive 🚗 for 3 hours to reach Huairou. 📍Zoushen Hostel, a cozy Huairou homestay 🏨 It was drizzling 🌧️ on the day we went, but it turned out to be the most refreshing day—no blazing sun, and it wasn’t too cold either. The gentle breeze made it incredibly comfortable. We really picked the perfect day‼️ This homestay has a great sense of design and feels very warm and welcoming. 3️⃣-story standalone building with a private courtyard The courtyard features an outdoor pool 🏊, a slide 🛝, and a cloud swing ☁️. 1️⃣st floor: Dining area 🍽️ and kids' play zone 📖 2️⃣nd floor: Guest rooms 3️⃣rd floor: Guest rooms ➕ rooftop terrace 🧑🏻‍🍳 They provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner 🥣. The local Huairou-style private dishes are abundant and delicious. The braised pork with chestnuts 🌰 is a classic—so tasty and unique. Breakfast is diverse and nutritious, and they also offer baby meals and have all the necessary baby supplies. We chose the (Super Comfy King Bed Room 🛏️). The 2-meter-wide bed was spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 kids without feeling cramped. The room had a small children's tent ⛺️ and a long sausage dog 🐶 pillow, which the kids absolutely loved. There was also a double bathtub 🛁 where the kids had a blast playing in the water. This is truly a place where you can unwind 🧘 and let go of all your worries. Life slows down here, and it feels so peaceful and relaxing. You can set aside 🫳 your burdens and stress, and the feeling of exhaustion disappears instantly.
