Beitou Tour

The Beitou tour includes visits to the Taipei City-designated historic site Puji Temple, the Beitou Museum, and the Beitou Hot Spring Museum. The Beitou Hot Spring Museum, originally a public bathhouse during the Japanese colonial period, is located near the geothermal valley known as "Ghost Valley" or "Hell Valley," the birthplace of Beitou's hot springs. Puji Temple is a rare Japanese Shingon Buddhist temple in Taiwan. Its century-old wooden structure perfectly preserves the architectural style of Japanese Buddhist temples. The Beitou Museum was formerly the "Jia Shan Hot Spring Hotel," exuding a strong Japanese ambiance that makes visitors feel as if they've stepped into a mini Kyoto. Every year, the Beitou Museum hosts the "Jia Shan First Birthday Celebration," where babies dressed in yukatas participate in a traditional first birthday ceremony in the historic museum. This event, set against the backdrop of a century-old Japanese-style garden, marks the baby's first year and symbolizes a sense of destiny for their future path!
