📍Location: Praça do Império 1400-206 Lisboa, Portugal 💰Price per person: about 4,000 yen 🕰️Business hours 9:30-17:30 (closed on Mondays) Other closed days: Mondays, 1/1, Holy Sunday (Easter Sunday), 5/1, 6/13, 12/24, 12/25 The Jeronimos Monastery and the Tower of Belem in the Belem district of Lisbon were both built in the early 16th century by order of King Manuel I, and were registered as World Heritage Sites in 1983 as cultural heritage that conveys the prosperity of Portugal during the Age of Discovery. It is one of Portugal's first World Heritage Sites. It is about 30 minutes by bus from Lisbon city without transfers. I think you can tour the inside of the monastery in about 1-2 hours. I went there around 10am and had to wait in line for about an hour, so I recommend going early in the morning. Both the building and the gardens were very attractive. I'm glad I went.
