Busan Cruise Ship Solo Trip

#0 yen trip February 2025 I took a Korean cruise ship (Panstar) from Osaka Nanko for about 18 hours. I found a very cheap way to go on Black Friday with the tour company HIS, and used a two-person cabin for one person, which included four meals on the way there (morning and night) and one night stay there, for about 34,000 yen. The trip there and back was all buffet style, and the dinner on the ship was mostly meat dishes, and the seafood was only grilled fish in the morning, which was disappointing. 18 hours seems long, but there was a sauna in the large bath, three Korean TV channels were available in the cabin, and there was a cafe that served alcohol for an additional fee, as well as a 24-hour convenience store and duty-free shop, so I didn't get bored. The new ship also has a pool. Also, on the way there, we had a singing contest, and on the way back, we could listen to the crew singing and playing the piano. Busan was very open, and there were many new buildings, so I think those who are going to Busan Station for the first time will get lost. However, as soon as I arrived at the terminal, I saw Busan Tower, which I wanted to go to, and I was able to walk there. Around the tower, there are tourist and gourmet spots such as Lotte Department Store, Gukje Market, and Jagalchi Market, and I enjoyed it to the fullest even though I only stayed overnight. As for taking the subway, Busan Station is too large and I couldn't find the ticket booth or how to get on, but I was able to easily find the train going from Gukje Market to Busan Station. You can buy tickets in Japanese, so you won't get lost. As for eating locally, you can choose fish at the market and have it cooked for you. If you are worried about hygiene, I recommend the food court at Lotte Department Store. I used it on the day I arrived and the next day before leaving. It was no different from Japan (Osaka). A new ship will depart around spring this year.
