Thai temple!? Wat Braun Urquhart

"Wat Phloen Arkhat" is one of the three major Ganeshas in Changchungsao, and is famous for the "standing Ganesha". It is 49 meters tall and quite huge. The temple is said to have been modeled after the Taj Mahal in India, and it looks a little similar, but it has more of an Islamic feel and is onion-like, resembling a Russian Orthodox church. Inside the temple, music similar to Hindu sutras is played. The "sleeping" pink Ganesha is popular among Japanese people, and there are many visitors, so it is difficult to take photos, but this temple is not so crowded, so you can take your time to look around. It is about a 15-minute tuk-tuk ride from Chachoengsao bus terminal.
