However, there are some restaurants that are difficult to enter with children, so I went to Kona's Coffee, a chain restaurant that has several locations in the Kansai region where I live and have been to before. Although it is in Japan, it has a restaurant atmosphere that you might see in Hawaii, especially around the North Shore, and I go there occasionally. However, even though it is the same Kona's Coffee, this American Village store has many foreign customers and the atmosphere is completely different. The staff also speak fluent English, and the view through the window makes the inside of the store feel like you're really in Hawaii. In this atmosphere, I had the Aloha Mochiko Chicken Plate, which is also a familiar Hawaiian dish. There's also a wide variety of vegetables, so I think the menu is healthy. Kona's Coffee is well-known for its Hawaiian atmosphere, but I feel like this North Shore-esque sense of unreality can't be found at many other stores.
