Mind-blowing Face Changing Act of the Sichuan Opera

Address- We sent to see the Sichuan Opera at the Shufengya Yunchuan Theater 🎭 located inside the Chengdu Culture Park on 136 Qintai Road, Qingyang. We purchased our tickets on Trip.com and the agent, Andy, gave us all the information we needed to get in. Once at the gate, we showed them the booking number and a statement in China that the agent gave us and they quickly directed us to our designated area. For VIP tickets, make a right at the gate after picking up your ticket, then make another right to enter the VIP section. Ambience: It was lovely inside. We were directed to a table set with traditional tea and pine nut. We were able to buy snacks at a stall inside. Ear cleaning, costume trying and massage were also available before and even during the show. The lighting was warm and made for a lovely date night, even though I was there with my two kids. Highlight: The performances were in Chinese but the host spoke in English as well. Some of the acts had key English phrases like "I love you". Either way, it didn't matter because the acts were easy to follow due to how dramatic the actors/actresses were. The most impressive act was the face changing act. It's mind-blowing to consider how they changed masks within split seconds right before your eyes. They changed from wearing masks to not wearing masks and vice versa, as well as changed from masks to masks. The act with the fire 🔥 and the hand shadow were also spectacular. Average price per person: Our VIP tickets cost 348yuan per person. We didn't pay for our 4-year-old. Rating- Definitely 5 stars🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩. Worth it.
