Chiang Mai City Arts and Culture Hall is located near Wat Phra Singh. Inside the museum, there are exhibitions on the history of Chiang Mai and local cultural lifestyles since the prehistoric era. There are 15 permanent exhibition rooms, divided by content, from the prehistoric era, the era of building houses and cities, through the glorious and declining times, and the changes until the present-day Chiang Mai. The governance system, way of life, wisdom, and proud cultural identity of Chiang Mai people are presented with models combined with modern media, including slides, videos, computer programs, models, graphic boards, and illustrations. The back building is divided into rotating exhibition rooms, outdoor activity areas, meeting rooms, souvenir shops, and coffee shops, supporting various cultural activities to preserve the unique culture of Chiang Mai. 📅 Opening hours Wednesday - Sunday (including public holidays) 08.30 - 16.30 hrs.
