Yes, it is 5 Bath for one sushi, and the taste surprisingly very good for the price. When I visited Chiang Mai, I stayed near this market and ended up i buying sushi every night. The market is called Chiang Mai Gate Market, located near the south gate of Chiang Mai city. This market is very beautiful and authentic, offering a wide variety of local products. The market is opens in the morning until 12 PM and in the evening from 5 PM to 10 PM, making it easy for people to visit. In the morning market, local people will sell fresh vegetables, fruits, meats and fish, not only that one, but also a lot of stands selling cooked foods, cakes, authentic Thai snacks, desserts, and coffee. I tried coffee from little store inside the market, and i was surprised by how amazing it tasted. It was even better because the lady selling the coffee was so nice. I paid 15 Bath for hot coffee with condensed milk. If you walk toward the Lotus’s Supermarket, you can find fruit stands with affordable prices. I bought mangoes in this area only 20 Bath per kilogram. In the evening, foods stands line the street in the front of the market. During this time, I usually buy the sushi. You can find several stands that selling sushi; some types are priced 5 Bath and while others are 10 Bath. The sushi is freshly made, and if you come close to closing time, it may be sold out, as it is favorite among tourists.
