Kruba Sriwichai is a respected figure among the Lanna people. A monument was built at the entrance to Doi Suthep for people to pay homage. The project began on November 9, 1934, and was completed in 1935, covering a distance of 10 km. The only tools used to build it were a hoe and a pickaxe, but it took only 5 months and 22 days to build.
