Temple Hopping in Chiang Mai

#summervacay If you’re in Chiang Mai and not temple hopping, are you even doing Chiang Mai right? 😂 The Old City is literally packed with temples, like, one on every corner kind of packed. I started at Wat Phra Singh, and wow, that golden stupa just gleams like it’s got its own spotlight. Then wandered over to Wat Chedi Luang, which is like ancient ruins meets Instagram gold. It’s got this massive chedi that’s half crumbled but still totally majestic. Honestly, you don’t need a plan, just start walking and you’ll stumble into peaceful courtyards, intricate carvings, and the occasional orange-robed monk chilling in the shade. It’s such a mellow way to soak in the culture. Don’t forget to dress modestly (cover those shoulders and knees!) or bring a scarf just in case. Bonus points if you catch the golden hour lighting, it makes the temples look magical. Chiang Mai temple hopping = 10/10, no regrets. ✨🛕
