This summer, I had the privilege of staying at the Huabang Hotel located in Fairy Mountain, Wulong, Chongqing. The overall experience felt like being in a European mountain resort! Nestled within the Fairy Mountain National Forest Park, the hotel offers breathtaking views of endless grasslands and lush forests right outside the window, with fresh air that instantly makes you forget the hustle and bustle of city life. The rooms feature Nordic-style designs, with wooden furniture and floor-to-ceiling windows. At night, you can fall asleep to the sound of chirping insects, and in the morning, wake up to sunlight and birdsong—truly therapeutic! The most impressive feature is the hotel's own forest trail, which takes just a 5-minute walk to reach the grasslands. From there, you can enjoy stunning views of the Wujiang Gallery, perfect for photography. The restaurant specializes in local mountain delicacies and Sichuan cuisine, with the "Bamboo Shoots Stewed with Preserved Meat" being a must-try dish that leaves a lasting impression. The service details are also very thoughtful, with the front desk proactively offering free hiking maps and the pool area being impeccably clean. The only minor drawback is the slightly high price during peak season, but it’s absolutely worth it!
