Looking for a cozy and welcoming coffee shop in Chongqing? Look not further than MAAN Coffee in Yudei! The atmosphere is very inviting and charming. The furniture is very kitschy and comfortable. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee! MAAN Coffee also offers breakfast and lunch options. Their waffles are my favorite! Their macchiato is one of the best I’ve ever had! The service is fast and friendly as well! They offer free WiFi so bring your laptop and relax while getting some work done! There are also a few cozy quiet corners if you prefer to read a book! Not only does #chongqing have one of China’s most impressive skylines, it’s home to arguably the country’s best hot pot cuisine! For those who’ve never had the pleasure, hot pot is a must-try when visiting #china. Chongqing hot pot is known in particular for the incredible spicy flavor. To get the really authentic experience, I highly recommend Yang Ma Er Hot Pot (洋马儿火锅). There are several locations around the city. We went to the one in Jiaochangkou, which is tucked up around an ally and feels very authentic and intimate. #foodie #deliciousfood #wintergetaway Recommendations: 1) Go with 5-6 other people, which makes it easier to order and try many different dishes. 2) Go slow if you’re not used to the spice. Use some of the sauces provided to even things out a bit. 3) Don’t over order least you end up with a bunch of wasted food. You can always add more dishes later if you need. 4) Take your time and enjoy!
