Temple Time, Beopjusa is Peaceful (and Kinda Majestic)

#summervacay Took a trip out to Beopjusa Temple and it was honestly the perfect mix of peaceful and “whoa, this is ancient.” The walk up is super chill, lined with tall pine trees and little statues that make it feel like you’re entering a different world. Total forest temple vibes. The temple itself? Gorgeous. There’s this massive golden Buddha that literally stops you in your tracks. Like, photos do not do it justice. Everything’s super well-kept and colorful, but not in a flashy way, more like calm and beautiful. You can wander around the grounds, check out the pagodas, and just soak in the quiet. Even with other people around, it still feels super zen. If you’re into nature, cool history, or just want a break from city chaos, Beopjusa is a solid choice. Bring comfy shoes and maybe a snack. There’s not much to “do” in the traditional sense, but honestly? That’s kind of the point. Just breathe and enjoy the calm.
