Haogogae Summit

#summervacay Took a super random hike up Haogogae in Chungcheongbuk-do and honestly? It was small but sweet. Not a huge mountain or anything intense, but perfect for when you just wanna stretch your legs and get some fresh air without going full beast mode. The trail was short and mellow, with some gentle uphill and shady forest vibes most of the way. Super quiet too, barely ran into anyone, which made it feel like my own little nature escape. Definitely a good “reset your brain” kind of hike. Once you reach the summit, there’s a nice open space with surprisingly solid views for such a chill climb. Rolling hills, scattered trees, and that peaceful countryside energy that makes you just wanna sit down and do nothing for a bit. Which I did. With snacks, obviously. If you're in the area and don’t feel like breaking a sweat but still want a mountaintop moment, Haogogae is a lowkey winner. Peaceful, easy, and just the right amount of outdoorsy.
