Originally, you couldn't go there without permission, but it's now an official trail that's open, so it's a great place to see the scenery of Chungju💚 I went there after reading a quick blog review and regretting it the whole way up, but the moment I arrived at the observatory and looked down at the scenery, I was 200% satisfied🥰🥰 After searching for the famous Chungju 'Lazy Crocodile' cafe, which is famous for its view, and parking for free in the parking lot, you pass the crocodile-shaped overpass and the 0.9km trail to the observatory begins! I wasn't worried because the blog review said anyone could go, but the well-maintained wooden deck was short and the steep path continued, so it was really... hard workㅠㅠㅠ🥹 (There are only 2 chairs to rest on) I'm a climber✋🏻 Must-read for those who are doing it!!! 1. Make sure to bring water or drinks 2. Just wear hiking boots or shoes that fit your feet well, as sneakers are slippery (Sandals are absolutely not allowed because it's hot XXXXX) 3. The path is steep and there are no handrails to hold onto, so beginners need hiking sticks (I went without one, but my legs were shaking so it was dangerous..) 4. Dogs are not allowed because it's dangerous
