Western Australia, Perth - Mandurah: Discovering One of the Six Giants! 🚶‍♀️🌲

#summervacay On our Western Australia road trip, we set out to find The Resting Port, one of the "Six Giants" of Mandurah! We drove about 2 hours from Naturaliste Lighthouse to get here. The walk to and from the giant took us about an hour. This was the second giant on our list. Our itinerary was packed, so we didn't have time to see the remaining four. (Besides one in Perth City, the other four can be found along the road if you're driving and checking your map.) We actually spent a lot of time searching for this particular giant because the signs weren't very clear. We missed a fork in the road and took a wrong turn, completely overlooking the instructions. The walk from the car park to find this giant and back took a full hour! It also gets very dark at night, which can be dangerous, so we really sped up as the sunset approached.
