Croatia~Rastoke Waterfall~

Rastoke waterfall in Slunj, located at the confluence of the Slunjčica and Korana rivers. Due to the difference in terrain, the Slunjka River forms many waterfalls and streams of varying sizes and lengths, which finally flow into the Korana River. In the 17th century, residents used water wheels to generate water power to grind wheat and produce textiles. The war caused severe damage to the village. Most of the houses we see today were rebuilt from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. Walk down the trail along the roadside of the Korana River, admire the scenery on the opposite side from the observation deck on the shore, and see more clearly the spectacular waterfall show of the Slunj River that stretches for more than a hundred meters. Some are as thin as silk, some are as wide as cloth; some are graceful, others are majestic; some stand out alone, while others are created in clusters; some are a single layer, while others are stacked in multiple layers; some pass through the forest, while others cascade down from the side of the house;... When planning the trip, I knew this place was beautiful and was known as the "Little Sixteen Lakes". I didn’t expect it to be like a fairyland!
