Perfect for nature lovers wanting to experience jungle vibes, waterfalls, and local culture all in one trip. 🥾🌴💦 📍 Location: Bengoh Dam 🕗 Time: 8:30 AM departure – 2:00 PM return 🚗 Distance: About 1 hour by car from Kuching city 💰 Cost: RM60 per person (includes guide + packed lunch) — we went as a group of three! 🔥 Highlights: Two amazing waterfalls, including the "Jurassic Waterfall" — truly like stepping into another world! Short boat ride (approx. 10 mins) across Bengoh Dam to reach the trailhead 🚤 Photo stops at scenic jungle viewpoints 📸 Visit to a Bidayuh village — hike to the hilltop, enjoy lunch with a view 🥙🍃 🧢 What to Prepare: Eat breakfast beforehand! 💡 We saw people struggle with low blood sugar on the trail. Footwear: Proper non-slip sports shoes or kampung Adidas! I wore Crocs — slipped twice 😅 and became a roadside attraction. My friend wore Crocs too and got bitten by red ants 🐜. Clothing: Long-sleeved sportswear, long pants, and tall socks recommended for sun protection and to avoid insect bites. Don’t forget: Sunscreen + insect repellent 🧴🦟 This trail is beginner-friendly but comes with a few fun challenges!
