🏨✨InterContinental Edinburgh The George 📍🏴19 - 21 George Street, Edinburgh I chose InterContinental Edinburgh The George for my trip to Scotland, and it was really worth it! It's only a 500-meter walk from Edinburgh Waverley Station, and there are many convenient transportation points nearby. You can feel the historical atmosphere of the New Town as soon as you step out of the hotel, and it's close to major attractions such as 99 Hanover Street and Hoot The Redeemer. 🚶‍♂️🕵️‍♀️ The hotel is stylishly decorated, with the front building retaining the classical charm of the Georgian era, while the back building is slightly more modern but still very comfortable and harmonious. 🤵 The reception staff are fluent in English and friendly, making us feel at home. The room is spacious, but the shower is a bit small, and there are no bathrobes or slippers, but they were provided immediately upon request. The facilities are complete: ironing equipment, LCD TV, wardrobe, kettle, and coffee maker are all available. The bed is very comfortable, and the service is first-class. 🍵📺 The room experience is really great! I stayed in room 461 facing George Street, and although the construction noise affected my sleep, the comfort of the room was still great. The bed is a bit thin, but overall it's not bad. The lobby and bar are beautifully decorated, and I feel comfortable and cozy every time I pass by. 🏠🛏️ I have to mention that the hotel's dining is really unforgettable, the atmosphere in the lobby bar is great, and there's a gym for those who like to exercise. The gift shop is also very convenient. Nearby Palm Court at The Balmoral, Number One, and New Chapter Restaurant are all worth recommending. 🍽️🍷 The area around the hotel is a paradise for food, drink, and entertainment, and you can visit Mary King's Close, Holyrood Palace, and the Royal Mile. The indoor facilities are really thoughtful. The concierge helped us book the best restaurants and arranged a great sightseeing itinerary. Even though there was a wedding next door, we still felt special. Thanks to the hotel for giving us a wonderful time. 📸🌆 This trip was especially memorable! This hotel is really worth visiting again, and I recommend it to all my friends who are traveling to Edinburgh! 👋🏻❤️
