A fascinating journey to the Shenshui Pavilion Temple in Mount Emei

#AbsolutelyFreeTrip Emeishan Shenshui Pavilion Temple is unique among the Emeishan. This was once the villa of Wu Yong-shan, a governor of the Ming Dynasty. It was renamed "Shengshui Temple" during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, and became "Shengshui Pavilion" during the Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty. The architecture of the temple has a private garden style unique to Sichuan, and combines nature and art. Outside the temple is the Shenshui Pond, whose water is clear, cool in summer and warm in winter, truly worthy of being called "Shengshui". There is also a "Da E Stone" by the pond, which is engraved with the inscriptions of Chen Tuan Laozu of the Song Dynasty and Lu Dongbin of the Tang Dynasty. Access: Emeishan can be reached by car from Chengdu in about an hour and a half. There are also frequent buses from Leshan Buddha. Note: There are many monkeys in Mount Emei, so be careful not to get close to them and keep your valuables on you. Also, be sure to stay quiet and follow the rules inside the temple.
