Charming coastal town in Normandy

It’s small and easy to walk through, with narrow streets lined with old Norman houses, little shops, and lots of cafés and creperies. There’s a laid-back feel to the place, even with other visitors around—it doesn’t feel rushed or overly touristy. The main square and streets near the beach are lively, with people sitting outside enjoying coffee or seafood. The smell of the sea mixes with the scent of fresh pastries from the bakeries, and it all just feels really inviting. I spent some time just wandering without a plan, stopping for a snack and looking through local art and craft shops. The beach area has a wide promenade where people stroll or sit facing the water. Even just walking through the town, the cliffs are always in view, which gives it this really dramatic backdrop. It’s the kind of place that’s cozy but also full of character. You don’t need a lot of time to see it, but it’s definitely worth slowing down and soaking in the atmosphere.
