To Witness the Fiery Fitz Roy

Fitz Roy, a mountain located in El Chaltén in the Patagonia region of Argentina, is famously known as the inspiration for the logo of the renowned brand "Patagonia." Travelers often enjoy trekking to Laguna de los Tres to witness the fiery Fitz Roy, a popular activity. There are two other ways to experience this breathtaking view: 1. Spend a night at the campsite located about an hour before the final ascent, and start the climb early the next morning. 2. Begin trekking from the trailhead at midnight and head directly to Laguna de los Tres. If possible, option 1 is less physically demanding. However, during peak season, rental camping gear may be unavailable, so this option is limited to those who already have their own equipment. For option 2, at the very least, a headlamp is essential. There is one particularly tricky spot along the way where it's easy to lose your way. It takes about 3 hours to reach the campsite, and another hour from there to the destination. Everyone says the last hour is grueling—be prepared for it! 😅 But beyond that lies a stunning view that makes it all worthwhile.
