Miyajidake Shrine: Sacred Shrine, Shimenawa Sacred Rope, Sunset Viewing

Miyajidake Shrine is located in Fukuoka City. It is a popular shrine for people who come to watch the sunset because the sun sets over the sea right in front of the shrine entrance. But for us, just to see the giant Shimenawa rope, or straw rope that we saw hanging in front of the shrine, was worth it. Travel in late January to early February.
