Unmusan Moods, Cloudy Trails and Quiet Peaks

#summervacay Took a chill hike up Unmusan in Hongcheon and it was nothing but good vibes. The trail kicks off nice and easy, with soft forest paths and tons of birdsong, seriously felt like nature was putting on a soundtrack just for me. It’s one of those hikes where you don’t really rush, you just wander and breathe. There were some foggy patches near the top (fitting for a mountain with “cloud” in the name), and it gave everything this moody, peaceful vibe. The climb isn’t too intense, but enough to get the blood flowing. Not a lot of people around either, so it felt like I had the mountain to myself. At the summit, the view peeked through the mist, layers of mountains fading into the distance. Just sat there for a while, snacking and taking it all in. Total zen moment. If you’re near Hongcheon and looking for a lowkey hike with high chill factor, Unmusan is absolutely worth the steps.
