Forest Feels and a Breezy Summit

#summervacay Hit up Gamaksan in Wonju and wow, what a refreshing little mountain adventure. The trail starts off mellow, winding through peaceful forest with soft dirt paths and that perfect combo of bird sounds and rustling leaves. It’s not too steep at the beginning, so you get to warm up your legs while just soaking in the nature vibes. As you climb higher, it gets a bit steeper and rocky, but still totally manageable. There are some cool wooden stairs and signs along the way, so you won’t get lost even if you’re just winging it. The view from the peak? Super worth it. You get a wide view of the surrounding valleys and mountains, plus a nice breeze that makes you wanna just sit down and stay a while. Not too crowded either, which was awesome. If you’re in the Wonju area and want a peaceful but satisfying hike with just the right amount of challenge, Gamaksan totally delivers. Solid nature escape.
