Go feed Hutch the Bear some apples at Garlyns Zoo

Garlyn Zoo Wildlife Park, MI, USA This little family owned zoo along Lake Michigan was a fun experience for the whole family. We arrived at the perfect time as it was feeding time for the animals so we got to see the workers feed the lions, tigers and bears whole chickens. All of the animals seemed well cared for and happy. They had a nice variety of animals to see and the enclosures were all very clean and also close together so not alot of walking to see the next area. If you are ever driving through and have 1-2 hours to spare, I recommend checking it out. You can even feed the bears apples by dropping them down a tube and they roll straight into the bears enclosure and they catch them in their mouth. The one we fed, his name was Hutch and he was so funny to watch. This part was by far our favorite thing at the zoo. Watching him was so cool and the kids just loved it!
