And this is the origin of the civilization and the townspeople in the story!! Knossos Palace is the largest archaeological site of the Bronze Age on the island of Crete, Greece. It is called the oldest city in Europe because it is around 2,000 years before Christ. Although there are only ruins now, the vastness is enough to make you imagine how magnificent it used to be.
