Escape the summer crowds! This private hot spring courtyard in Conghua is so beautiful you won't want to leave

Struggling with summer vacation plans? Worried about crowds, high prices, or lack of fun? Take my advice—head straight to "Tianjian Courtyard" in Conghua, Guangzhou! Just an hour's drive from Guangzhou, our family of four was amazed: "Who knew such a paradise existed near Guangzhou?!" First, the location—navigate to Liangkou in Conghua, passing pastoral scenery along the way. The road to the B&B is lined with wildflowers and greenery, instantly cutting you off from the city. Best part? It's uncrowded! Even during Labor Day, we avoided the masses, with each standalone courtyard featuring a private hot spring—total privacy guaranteed! Stepping inside was pure therapy! A babbling stream runs through the yard, its water so clear you can spot tiny fish. Kids can crouch by the bank to catch fish and shrimp (the B&B even provides nets!). On the other side, a grassy lawn is set up with camping chairs and a foldable table—we lounged there with snacks, enjoying the breeze, while even our cat went wild playing in the grass! The room was a delightful surprise! We booked a mountain-view suite with its own courtyard, featuring 270° floor-to-ceiling windows framing the scenery. Waking up to birdsong, we'd drag a beanbag outside to watch the sunrise, then stargaze from bed at night—now that's a vacation! The private hot spring deserves special praise! The mountain spring water is perfectly warm, leaving you refreshed (even better in winter). The room also has a projector and a Xiaomi speaker—movie nights on the beanbag were cozier than home! Plus, the B&B is incredibly thoughtful, serving an elegant afternoon tea (the cake was sweet but not cloying) and bedtime herbal tea. Sipping tea under the moonlight, we slept like logs! Activities abound! Set up a tent by the stream for tea, or let kids play with provided gear (kayaks, fishing nets). Fire up the grill on the lawn (some packages include BBQ), or pet the B&B's bunnies, ducks, and cats—our kids chased ducklings for half an hour, laughing till their faces turned red! Nearby attractions are fantastic too: Bishui Gorge rafting (a summer must), Eco-Design Town, and Qianlonggou Waterfall are all a short drive away. We ran out of time this trip, but next time we're hitting them all!
