Leisurely Perfume Blending Experience at Youzhai｜Create Your Own Joyful and Alluring Fragrance Originally, I went to Xifang Compound to check out the Migu Bookstore and surrounding food spots, but I ended up being drawn to this newly opened perfume blending studio. I’d seen it before in Tianhe, but I didn’t expect Panyu to have such a charming little shop where you can craft your own perfume. Upon entering, I was greeted by a subtle, enchanting fragrance—mysterious, serene, deep, yet warm. The owner was super friendly and enthusiastically explained the blending process, helping me sample different perfume bases and scents before recommending options to create my ideal fragrance. The shop offers an incredible variety of scents: floral, fruity, woody, herbal, earthy, and even exotic notes. When I arrived, two guys were already blending their perfumes—perhaps the captivating aroma I noticed upon entering was from their creations. With so many alluring options, it’s easy to get indecisive, but thankfully, the owner’s guidance was spot-on. After an hour of selecting and blending, we all walked away with our own signature perfumes. Of course, I couldn’t resist snapping a group photo with the guys who were also picking scents, plus the gorgeous bay window blending station!
