Jarasum Blossoms

#summervacay If you're ever around Gapyeong do yourself a favor and swing by Jarasum during flower season. This little island turns into a straight-up flower paradise, fields full of vibrant blooms that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a postcard or a K-drama scene. The vibes are super laid-back. You just stroll through colorful patches of cosmos, sunflowers, and other seasonal flowers with the mountains and river in the background. There are little photo zones set up (some cheesy, some cute), and honestly, it’s just a nice place to wander, take pics, and chill. I went in the late afternoon and the lighting was chef’s kiss, golden hour magic over the petals. There’s usually a breeze off the water too, which makes everything feel extra peaceful. Perfect for couples, solo wanders, or even a family picnic. Not overly touristy either, which is rare. Just flowers, fresh air, and that “life is good” feeling. 10/10 mellow escape.
