History and gastronomy all in one place! Let’s go to beautiful Gyeongju!

I went to Gyeongju last December around this time! I haven't been there yet this year, but I love Gyeongju so much that I've been there every year for three years in a row. Gyeongju has a lot to see and eat, and it's a really charming city. If you're thinking about traveling domestically, I recommend Gyeongju this winter! 1️⃣ Cheomseongdae A must-see in Gyeongju! Be sure to visit Cheomseongdae. It is one of the oldest astronomical observatories in the world, built during the reign of Queen Seondeok of Silla. It is magnificent. If you go at sunset, the sunset behind Cheomseongdae and the soft lighting blend together to create a beautiful view. It has different charms during the day and at night, so I recommend visiting during the day and at night. 2️⃣ Donggung and Wolji This place is beautiful during the day, but I think it is even more beautiful at night. Donggung reflected in the pond is really beautiful. It is a night view that makes you forget the cold weather. 3️⃣~4️⃣ Bitkkuri It is ‘Bitkkuri’ on Hwangridan-gil. If you sit on the sunlit veranda and drink tea, your cold body will melt away. I recommend Bitkkuri, a quiet and cozy hanok cafe! 5️⃣ There were Christmas decorations all over Hwangridan-gil. It was really fun to walk around the streets looking around here and there. 6️⃣~8️⃣ Hyanghwajeong I went to a restaurant called 'Hyanghwajeong' recommended by a taxi driver. Since it was recommended by a local taxi driver, it was so delicious. Even though I have a small appetite, I ate it all up! Even if it's cold, you should definitely try Gyeongju Mulhoe. It's so delicious..! 9️⃣ Bulguksa If you go to Gyeongju, you must go to Bulguksa! If you walk hard to Dabotap, you'll forget the cold in no time. I was tired from walking hard, so I had a glass of refreshing Pocari. ㅋㅋ I hope you see the beautiful historical sites of Gyeongju. I think Gyeongju is the best travel destination to feel the beauty of Korea! Gyeongju has different charms in spring, summer, fall, and winter.
