Living the Movie Dream at Hapcheon Film Theme Park

#summervacay Okay, so I tried the Hapcheon Film Theme Park on Hapcheon Lake Road in Yongju-myeon, and it’s like walking into your favorite Korean drama set. From the moment you roll up, you’re treated to old-school vibes: retro streets, vintage houses, and beautifully restored film sets. It's totally insta-worthy but without feeling fake. They’ve got streets lined with old-style shops, a church that’s straight out of a melodrama, and even a train station set that makes you want to strike a pose. There’s a mini waterfall and pond area that’s super chill, you can just sit and soak in the scenery. Actors in costume stroll around, you can snap pics with them, or even dress up yourself if you're feeling extra. It’s not massive, but you could easily spend a couple of hours exploring, snacking on popcorn, checking out photo spots, and grabbing a coffee at a quaint little café on-site. It's the kind of place where time slows down in the best way possible. Totally a laid‑back day trip if you’re in Hapcheon or nearby. A surprising slice of charm and nostalgia, 10/10, would rewind and go again!
