Dutch Museum Mill in Haarlem

#familytrips2024 Windmill De Adriaan is a reconstructed working windmill museum in the city of Haarlem. Originally built in 1779, the original windmill was burnt down in 1932. It was rebuilt in 2002. You can visit the windmill interior through a guided tour. You will be brought upstairs where you can get to see beautiful windmill models with an explanation of the history and operation of windmills from the guide. You can also go up to the top floor where milling is done. In addition, you also get the chance to have a view of the city of Haarlem and River Spaarne. Or you can just sit down in the small cafe on the ground floor with some drinks or snacks. There are also some souvenirs you can get as well.
