Experience the Four Seasons: A Relaxing Two-Day Trip to Mount Takao

From the center of Tokyo, we took the Keio Line and arrived at Mount Takao, known as the 'Back Garden of Tokyo,' in just an hour. The station was still quiet in the early morning, and the cool mountain air was refreshing. We chose the popular Trail No. 1, which is suitable for beginners and offers beautiful scenery along with several cultural sites. As we walked, we were surrounded by lush green forests, and the air was filled with a faint scent of grass and trees. Our first stop was the Yakuoin Temple on Mount Takao, a magnificent ancient temple with a mysterious religious atmosphere. At the temple's amulet shop, I bought a charm for safety as a souvenir of this trip. Continuing our ascent, we took a break at the observation deck, where the view suddenly opened up, allowing us to overlook the distant Tokyo cityscape and even catch a glimpse of the outline of Mount Fuji.
