✨ First impressions: Scenery rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Recommendation: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the most worthwhile salt lakes to visit in Northwest China! In my opinion, it stands out among salt lakes and is perfect for drone photography! A single attraction showcasing multiple colors! 💴 Ticket price: 50 (half price for concessions), sightseeing train 60. After purchase, you can ride directly to the terminal station and explore in reverse (details later). I chose to hike without taking the train. Guide highlights: 1️⃣ The full route map is in p2 - save it now!! After entering, open Gaode Maps and follow the red arrows in p2 to visit all colorful lakes. ⚠️ Group tour participants should follow blue arrows - don't go further as time may be limited and inner landscapes are similar. The red arrow route takes at least 2.5 hours (I finished in 2 hours fast-walking), so group travelers take note! 2️⃣ The cover photo spot appears right at the entrance - take quick photos as grander lakes await ahead. 3️⃣ Continue forward to find the stunning emerald-green lake, truly jewel-like. 4️⃣ At the red/blue arrow fork, you'll see amber-colored lakes. 5️⃣ Further at the red-blue intersection lies the scenic's most beautiful blue lake (train's terminal station). Train riders can start here and explore backwards via red arrows. 6️⃣ The final straight path offers nice views. Don't miss the cute jade rabbit fridge magnet (35 yuan) at the souvenir shop! 🎨 Emerald Lake is absolutely worth visiting! Personally find Dachaidan more distinctive than Chaerhan Salt Lake (possibly because Chaerhan is currently under renovation - its guide coming soon).
