The old base of Hakodate! Hakodate Magistrate's Office (Goryokaku Park)

#GoryokakuPark #HakodateMajor'sOffice Goryokaku Park is located very close to Goryokaku Tower, and you can enter everything except the magistrate's office for free. This was the political base of Hakodate, and was the base during the Boshin War. There is a fee to enter the magistrate's office inside, but it is larger than it looks in the photo and is like a museum, so I think you will enjoy it. However, please note that you cannot see far into the distance from the magistrate's office like you can from Goryokaku Tower, as it is on flat ground.
