Wat Aranyawas (Ban Pong Temple) in Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai

Wat Aranyawas, also known as Ban Pong Temple, is located in Ban Pong Subdistrict, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province. This temple was recently built and has a very pleasant atmosphere. It is situated on a beautiful white hilltop. When you reach the top, the surrounding atmosphere is great because it is surrounded by forest. You can park your car at the bottom and take a red truck up for 200 baht per person, which includes both the trip up and down. At the top, you can worship and pay respects to the Buddha statue. Not far from the parking area, there is a local restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food at a reasonable price with an excellent atmosphere.
