Hidden beside Xiang Lake is an aquarium

Hangzhou Changqiao Polar Ocean Park is located in the Xiang Lake National Tourist Resort, a 4A national tourist attraction. The park covers a total area of 200,000 square meters and is a large marine theme park that integrates polar animals, marine life exhibitions, performances, and landscape experiences. The ocean park has a total of 19 exhibition halls, 5 performance theaters, and 5 themed restaurants. It houses hundreds of polar animals and marine mammals such as penguins, polar bears, belugas, dolphins, walruses, manatees, and pilot whales, as well as thousands of aquatic and terrestrial animals including sharks, jellyfish, corals, and brown bears. It is a new type of ocean park in China that integrates polar animal and marine fish exhibitions and polar experiences, with a large variety of cetacean species on display.
