【Helsinki】A City That Shines Under the Blue Sky

As the title suggests, Helsinki is a stunning city that looks even more beautiful under the blue sky. Today, let me introduce you to a day spent near the harbor! ① Helsinki Cathedral (Photos 1–3) Helsinki Cathedral is the landmark of the city! Its pure white structure stands on a slightly elevated spot, making it prominent whether viewed up close or from afar. When you look up at the cathedral from nearby, you'll see statues of the 12 apostles lined up. Originally, it was called St. Nicholas Church⛪️. Taking photos of Helsinki Cathedral from various angles is highly recommended! You can enjoy different atmospheres depending on the perspective🙆. Personally, I love the view of the cathedral peeking through the streets. ② Senate Square (Photo 4) Right in front of Helsinki Cathedral lies Senate Square. It's quite spacious, with a statue of Russian Emperor Alexander II standing in the center. Truly a place to relax and unwind. Many people were sitting on the steps, enjoying their time leisurely😊. ③ View from the Ferry (Photo 5) To visit the Suomenlinna Fortress from Helsinki's harbor, you can take a small ferry. The view from the ferry is breathtaking. In the distance, you can see Helsinki Cathedral, creating a very romantic scene🤍. Since the ride only takes 15 minutes, make sure to grab a seat at the back of the ferry to enjoy the view of Helsinki's cityscape as it fades into the distance. ④ SkyWheel Helsinki (Photo 6) A Ferris wheel that offers a panoramic view of Helsinki🎡. You can even spot the Suomenlinna Fortress from afar! And here's a fun fact—one of the cabins is actually a private sauna🧖. Helsinki is synonymous with saunas! You can enjoy both the sauna and the cityscape with 4–5 people. It costs around 40,000 yen for 4 people, but it would surely make for a memorable experience😘.
