It is definitely a fairyland to escape the crowd~ From downtown Osaka, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Ikoma Station, then take a bus directly to the foot of the mountain. It takes about half an hour to walk to the mountain. Surrounded by greenery along the way, breathing the air with the fragrance of grass and trees, the pressure is instantly relieved! The temple is hidden in the mountains and forests, and the vermilion mountain gate and the blue tiles and white walls complement each other. It is so quiet that only the birds and the wind can be heard, which is especially suitable for meditation. Hozanji was built in the Heian period. The ancient monuments in the temple are well preserved. Walking along the stone steps, you can see ancient stone lanterns and moss-covered stone Buddhas. Every corner is full of Zen.
