Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Site - Atomic Bomb Dome, Peace Park, and Memorial Museum.

A famous landmark in Hiroshima, the Atomic Bomb Dome is a remnant of the atomic bombing during World War II. At the moment of the explosion, the central dome was not completely destroyed, and parts of the concrete skeleton and outer walls remained intact, making it one of the few buildings that did not collapse under the impact of the blast. Seeing it up close is quite shocking! Across the river is the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, which features the Children's Peace Monument, the Peace Clock Tower, the Peace Bell, the Peace Fountain, the Flame of Peace, the Gates of Peace, and the Cenotaph for the A-bomb Victims. There are also three museums: the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, the Atomic Bomb Artifacts Exhibition Hall, and the Hiroshima National Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims. Like Nagasaki, the Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Site and Memorial Museum are filled with historical scars. Viewing the historical documents and photographs inside the museum evokes a sense of sorrow and makes one reflect on the cruelty of war.
