Follow the smell of steaming potatoes at Khoai Lang Nuong

When it comes to Vietnam, many people may think of Pho or Vietnamese coffee. But did you know that Khoai Lang Neong or "Steamed Sweet Potato" is another simple menu with its own charm? It is also an inspiration for many people to travel. This trip started from the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, a large city full of color and life. Traveling within the city is convenient with motorbike taxis or popular apps like Grab. We searched for a small shop called Khoai Lang Nuong, which is famous for its steamed, sweet, and delicious sweet potatoes served with coarsely ground peanut sauce. The aroma of the sweet potatoes wafted from the front of the shop, as if inviting us to come and try them. This shop is simply decorated but warmly decorated. There are seats on the side of the road where you can sit and watch people's daily lives. Students ride bicycles home, adults park their cars to buy food, and tourists from all over the world are just as enchanted by this city as we are. Trying to sit and relax, sip hot tea with steamed sweet potatoes in the old town atmosphere allowed us to rest our minds and revisit the charm of traveling.
