The day began with a visit to the historic King Temple in Hoa Lu, the former capital of Vietnam, where I explored ancient architecture and learned about the country’s early dynastic history. I continued with a cycling tour through scenic rural landscapes, passing lush greenery and striking limestone formations. A highlight of the trip was a peaceful boat ride in Trang An, where we cruised through a network of caves and emerald waterways, surrounded by towering karst cliffs. One of the most fascinating aspects was the boat rowers using their feet to paddle, a unique and skillful local tradition. The day concluded with a rewarding ascent to the summit of Mua Cave, where panoramic views of the valley below provided a stunning end to a truly enriching experience.
