Creative Dim Sum and Chinese Cuisine at West Kowloon Cultural District 🫖

This time, we visited a modern Chinese restaurant in the West Kowloon Cultural District to try their innovative dim sum and small dishes. We ordered some roasted meats and dim sum. First up was the honey-glazed Spanish Iberico pork char siu, which was sweet and fragrant with tender meat and a hint of smokiness from the oven. The quarter portion of crispy Jinling suckling pig had perfectly crunchy skin, paired with thin pancakes and sauce, making it not overly greasy. For dim sum, the agate shrimp dumplings had translucent wrappers and springy shrimp filling, with an elegant presentation. The caviar-topped siu mai was covered with caviar, offering a salty and fresh flavor. The dried tangerine peel and cilantro beef balls were smooth and tender, with the cilantro adding a refreshing touch. The lobster soup xiao long bao was a unique twist. The matsutake mushroom chrysanthemum tofu soup showcased impressive knife skills, with tofu cut into chrysanthemum-like shapes and infused with the aroma of matsutake mushrooms. The broth was light yet flavorful. Tea charge: $38 per person. The restaurant has a comfortable and spacious environment.
